Skills-based practices research, consultation, and implementation related to job descriptions, setting minimum qualifications, identifying skill taxonomies, skills-based selection and hiring, performance management, training and development

Research and Implementation related to the identification of skills and competencies that are needed for individual jobs, job families, and occupations; as well as those skills that transcend specific jobs (e.g., job-readiness skills, leadership). In addition, we develop frameworks for linking skills and competencies to career pathways.

Development of valid, reliable assessments to measure technical and durable skills and competencies using a variety of assessment methods (e.g., multiple-choice tests, situational judgment tests, structured interviews, personality measures, and more). Transportability studies for off-the shelf measures

Research related to occupational licensing and regulation including linkage between job requirements, public health/safety, and licensing requirements; analysis of licensing board structures, an identification of opportunities and barriers in the licensing process

We are a team of 7 dedicated Industrial and Organizational Psychologists with deep experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
Common to all of our team members is a passion to responsibly experiment with innovative uses of artificial intelligence throughout the research and consulting process.
We are currently supporting clients by developing competency models and assessments, conducting standard setting, researching occupational barriers to entry and retention challenges, linking occupational regulations to job requirements, and assessing components of the healthcare workforce
